Harvey Samuel Whistler (1907-1976) [1]

American violinist, musical editor and composer, born on 7 September, 1907 in California, USA, died 17 March, 1976 in Ventura, California, USA. [2]

Life

He received his doctorate in music education from Ohio State University in 1942 [3], most of his works were published at Rubank in Chicago. He got married for the second time to Georgeanna Kathryn Beaver in 1955. [4] He is buried at Grandview Cemetery, Ohio.
